Well spent most of the afternoon trying to find the best exchange rate for Brazilian Real.
Realised (sorry) that Tesco is the best, but closest Tesco is in Hengoed, so decided to push the boat out and go to Amex.
So money ordered, and have downloaded the app to try and learn some Portuguese before I go. Got a week to learn things like, "oh, not for me I'm full"!
It's getting exciting now. I love travelling, but I still think one of the best bits is the airport - Costa coffee, bookstores, magazines, fantasising that I'm a global traveller, and then I catch sight of myself in a shop window and realise I look like I'm on a day trip to abergavenny market!
But hey, I am a global traveller, I am off to Rio with Ioan Hefin, and we are going to tell a group of people, living half way across the world, about our little known company Theatr na n'Og, and about a little known scientist Alfred Russel Wallace.
